Achievements

 

During the last academic year kumari P. Vijay Mary and K. Nandini with 9.8 points from Telugu Medium, Kumar K. Harsh Vardhan and kumari Shahista Tazeen with 10 G.P.A from English Medium are the SSC Toppers for the year 2015-2016. We are proud to say that nearly 80 students scored 9.5 above

G.P.A with 100% Results from English Medium and 94% from Telugu Medium. As a token of appreciation and encouragement S.S.C toppers are given cash awards by the Management.

An educational fair was organized in our school on 30th Nov 2016. The Chief Guest and Guest of honour along with the invited neighbouring schools  have appreciated the staff and students for showing extraordinary talent of the children and their remarkable prowess as an excellent performance performed by the  grandeur expo of our students.

Children are encouraged to participate in the district and state level science fair which enables them to give shape to their scientific skills. Our students participated in it with the models pertaining to the topic bio-diversity

            Now a days education has become global. Our children are going abroad to enroll themselves  in the list of meritorious students because they’ve got an opportunity to prove themselves as an efficient persons among intellectuals. But the foundation for such a worldwide success is being given by schools in which they study. The school conducts various competitions for the development of children’s skills such as Drawing, Painting, Singing, Elocution, Rangoli, Quiz, Mental sums etc. prizes are given to the winners. All the students have been divided into four houses to develop competitiveness and team spirit. The groups are as follows Gandhi, Nehru,Sastri and Indira.

Our students participated in various competitions conducted by various organizations and came out with flying colours. They are as follows: -

                        Bharat Academy and Swarna Bharath ABC Foundation had conducted Telangana State Level Competition Kumari A. Swetha Varshini(I CBSE)and P. Sethu Srivalli (II C.B.S.E) were participated in Kuchipudi dance and won Gold medal and was awarded Balakalanidhi.

                        The Diocese of Khammam had conducted Balastav for kolatam, Solo and Group dance competitions on the occasion of Christmas celebrations at Karunagiri, on 18/12/16. Our student A. Swetha Varshini( I C.B.S.E) had given Kuchipudi Solo Dance. She has won prize and memento and Bishop was very much impressed and selected her dance for “Divya Vani” T.V. Channel. The District Level Drawing Competitions were held at Diet College conducted by D.E.O. Five of our students won cash award of Rs 5,000, T.A Rs 3,000 and were selected for State level competition.

   “A sound mind in a sound body” is true as games and sports make a person sound in body and mind. The school encourages the students to take an active participation in various sports and games activities and national level competitions. Once in a week mass drill is conducted for all the students.

            The school has excellent facilities for a wide range of Games and Sports including Netball, Basketball, Badminton, Volleyball, Kho-Kho, Kabaddi, Cricket and athletics.

            Physical Education is indispensable for the development of anefficiency and skill of an individual and for the overall development of one’s intellectual, social, cultural and economic activities.

            In our C.S.A Sports & Games tournaments our students participated held at Nalgonda. In this tournament 4 championships are there. Out of 4 championships, 3 championships were bagged by our students. Many of our students not only at State level but played for Nationals also for Games & Sports like Basket Ball, Net Ball, Foot ball etc.

Karate classes are also taken up by an expert master to make our children healthy and strong to face and challenge the threats of the present world. Our students are also taking part and participated in National level. Our students have participated in various outdoor competitions and won overall championship. Not only State level but also selected in National level too..

   On August 15th Independence Day was celebrated with great pomp and show. Various literary competitions were held to inculcate the Patriotism among children. On January 26th Republic day is celebrated to mark the occasion followed by Guard of honour and cultural programmes.

On 5th September, Teachers day is celebrated in connection to the birth anniversary of late Dr.Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan the former president. Teachers are the torch bearers of knowledge. They are the architects in shaping up of the children’s character and mould them into useful citizens of the country. So teachers are honoured by children

On November 14th children’s day is celebrated in memory of late prime minister Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. Children are the pillars of the nation in general and gift to the institution in particular. Children used to be entertained by the teachers and a fete also arranged on that day.
